Afghanistan’s women’s volleyball team defeated Bangladesh on Monday in the Central Asian Women’s Volleyball Championship. The match was held in Malé, the capital of the Maldives. Afghanistan had previously lost its two matches against Kyrgyzstan and the Maldives.
The Central Asian Women’s Volleyball Championship, featuring teams from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, the Maldives, and Kyrgyzstan, will continue until December 25. Afghanistan’s women’s volleyball team has been pursuing its sporting activities in exile following the Taliban’s return to power, due to restrictions imposed on women.
