The Afghanistan national futsal team will play its first match in the AFC Futsal Asian Cup on Wednesday, 8 Dalwa, against the Saudi Arabian team.
Afghanistan is placed in Group D of the tournament alongside Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, and Iran. According to the Football Federation, the national players traveled to Indonesia to participate in the competition after completing training camps in Thailand. The AFC Futsal Asian Cup, featuring 16 teams, will be held in Indonesia from 7 to 18 Dalwa.
